We need a topic.

You didn't think I'd do it, did you? You thought I was kidding. I said, "let's do a mother-daughter blog," and you said "hah, ok." I said "I'll send you the link," and you never texted me back. I think you went to sleep.

I want to make a ground rule, because I'm the mom and I said so. I say, no topics that can be shut down with a "yes" or "no" answer. For example, is getting free tuition worth all those Christianity classes they're making you take?

  1. No, because I was offered free tuition at two other universities that did not require Christianity core.

However, overall it might be worth it because:
-I get to live in New York.
-I might get to go to Paris.
-I have a job doing exactly what I'm suited for.
-This semester has been pretty fun.

The real question is: is it necessary or even acceptable for a university to require three theology core classes even if they have a religious affiliation?
